Where can I find documentation (or a book) that explains the use of the interface between vfp6 and word97. And what can be done in word via automation.

I create word documents then want to -- say replace a string in the new .doc . I Build a macro that shows me the VB code. Try to convert the code to VFP. Then I get every manner of interface error codes.

There must be something very simple I've missed, but even after reviewing endless msdn library entries, there seems no way to understand what is needed.

Somewhere, there is (or needs to be) a description of the word PEM's for a given method. And, a description of the objects that accomplish the most usefull tasks (open, close, find/replace, etc.)
