Hi Erik,
Yes, I have DCOM enabled. I can't remember all I tried Friday with the security settings, but I tried alot (it's a dedicated machine, so I'm free to be drastic). I set both default and application security (launch, access, config) to full access for basically every user account: Everyone, Guest, etc... The application folder is also shared to everyone, and in fact I can copy and paste there no problem. One thing that seems odd to me is that in DCOMCNFG, the application is listed only by it's CLSID, not the name I gave it. But I figure it registered ok, otherwise I would get some sort of "not registered" error.

>Have you enabled DCOM on the server? "Enable Distributed COM on this computer" in DCOMCNFG. Can you describe what you have done so far with the security settings for your server?
