Just had a situation where I accessed a VFP3 table to get field names and tag info thru code using the aDBObject/afields etc. Did not change any thing. When I attempted to use the table in the VFP3 app received a message about DBC compiled using a previous version of foxpro. Does VFP5 'do' something when you access a table/database for info. Can you share databases across the two versions such as new functionalty in VFP5 with the core (seperate app) in VFP3??
