>It seems that the performance of our large application has slowed to crawl. The main component of the problem is the amount of data we are passing across the WAN. Advisor just had an article about why VFP does not do well in the WAN arena. I'm searching for the best solution. I'm thinking this might be the time to move to a browser front end. I really would like to stay with VFP as the backend though.

The default answer is always www.west-wind.com, but you may also want to check into a Thin client solution. You may (and probably should) eventually end up with a web application front-end, but the Thin Client could help you get through until you can create a new program - or could be the answer.
