I have a File which has codes and descriptions e.g.:
Code Decription
---- ----------
NY New York
DE Delaware
SA San Francisco
DE Delaware

I want to set up a Combo box, which displays both the Code and description
in the list, but when I go to the next field, I want the Description
only displayed. The code is the control source back to the file.
I can do all of the above except dispalying the description after I
leave the field.

e.g.

Name: Joe Bloggs
State: San Francisco
Address: 25 Cowper Downs,Lime Way

Is there a way of leaving the description field displayed rather than
the control source field ?
