Mike, I have tried what you suggested and it works fine..up to a point.
I can get the description to display , but I still want the user to type in the code. This is required where there is huge volumes of data to be entered very quickly, and it is the Code (not the description) that the operator has on their input sheets. Also, the code is stored away on the file.
