I tried useing OLEDB but I kept getting a system error that no driver existed. Where do I get the OLEDB driver. I remember seeing the driver listed at a previous job when setting up connections in ODBC Admin but its not listed in mine, also OLEDB for ODBC drivers is not listed.

I will reformulate my ADO code to reflect your suggestions. Why does my existing COM object work as is when called from VB or VFP? I get ADORS back almost instantly there.
