(1) Make certain that at least Visual Studio SP3 is installed.

(2) Do not use an HP-supplied printer driver; instead, use an MS-supplied driver from an operating system distribution for a compatible printer, or make absolutely certain to declare _fpreset and call it after each VFP function that references the GDI, including print previews and calls to printer assignment functions, even where no printing takes place.
