The user can setup the application on any drive they wish. When they install it they are given a default (the same directory in which I created the app) but have the ability to change to any drive or directory they wish. Obviously I only created this on 1 drive:\directory and if that were c:\ and they wish to install to k: the controls on the scx are looking for c:\... not K:\.... An example of what I am talking about is VFP6. If you buy VFP six and install it, during the installation, you are prompted to accept the default path of c:\vfp or choose one of your own. I want to give the user of my app the same choice but I continue getting 'can't find dbf' errors.
