The width of the combobox drop-down list initially appears small when I click on the combobox on the form. Then, I select an item and depending upon how many characters in length the item is, the drop-down list widens the next time I click on the combobox.

Hi Steve,
As I remember it was a run once code for init and no code setting combo width. Probably your combo is subclassed and has code somewhere else causing the behaviour.
