I would like to create an executable with an activation keyed front end. I have a shareware ebook I am distributing and would like a means to activate the ebook after a payment or credit card authorization is received.

I would then email the activation key which would be entered in my first screen, and if it matched my internal code, the program would forever after allow the ebook to run. If not it would prompt the user to retry.

Basically, the first if statement would be followed by a run command to spawn my ebook. My ebook is presently a Word for Windows document encapsulated in Replica for Windows (very similar to Adobe Acrobat) and can be run from the file manager command line.
