This is true. But since the login form is the first form to show (before any menus or the VFP screen itself), it's going to require a second READ EVENTs. Well, let me temper that by saying I've always done it this way. In my 'speriment the form was set to top-level and required a second READ EVENTS in the main calling program othewise it would never show up if I run the EXE from Windows (if run from within VFP it's not required).
