>>The form is modeless and not a member of a formset. The form has a grid control on it. Here's the strange behavior: when the grid receives focus, the form shifts down and to the right the width of the standard form border showing the form border, even though the border style is set to 0. Forms set up the same way without grids do not exhibit this behavior. Any ideas?

We use 5.0a. It happens on both NT4 and Win 95 boxes with a variety of video drivers (Chips & Technologies and Number Nine Visual in my office).
"It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much -- the wheel, New York, wars and so on -- whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man -- for precisely the same reasons." - Douglas Adams
