So, to summarize, I am running absolutely identical code. On the NT machine, it works like a dream. On a Win98 laptop, I get a syntax error with the following:


if dbfDataEnv.rssqlDepartment.State = 0 then
dbfDataEnv.sqlDepartment
end if

The Win98 laptop has the more recent ODBC driver.

I am completely at a loss as to where to go from here.
