Hello.
Some day, in my office went a guy. He wanted me to buy Oracle. His best argument was a grin and the phrase: "Hmmm, Visual FoxPro! Man, this is _not_ a programmming language!". I said: "Ok, then what else?" "Try Oracle. This is the best database management ever!" "How much is Oracle?" "9,000 USD" "Ok, I'll think about it". And the guy leaves.
There are 2 years from then. As you see, I'm hanging around in the UT, and I'm fairly active around here. Thus I prove my belief that Visual FoxPro is _for real_ a programming language.
However, I dont't know how this kind of things are in US, but in Romania Oracle 8 is sold in street's corner at a price a little greater than a blank CD: about 2 USD. Not to mention that nobody seems to care about the licences.
Even that, I don't want to migrate to Oracle or any other language, because, you know, first love is never forgot...
Just my oppinion.
