Using the OOP features of VFP allows you to build common class libraries to handle recurring tasks. Write the code once, and re-use it...without having to modify it. The principle of frameworks in action. I think this is where the true time savings are in app development with VFP.

Yeah. I absolutely agree. What I am contesting at is why doing it in code instead of leveraging the ease and convenient Visual programming - Drag and Drop? We have our own framework too, but majority of the classes were built and stored in VCX file format.
