Well any report writer/generator other than the one included in VFP is a separate program. *s* SFReports (which uses the VFP Report) and FoxFire! are both separate programs. Their just written using VFP.

As for supplying it with your applications, yes if you give your end users the Designer. However, if you only supply them with the report files and the runtime files specified in the Crystal documentation, you don't have to pay anything more (AFAIK).
