Another verse...
I've taken all my older code and n-tier-ized it all,
I just wrapped it with the Session class -- the mods are really small.
So even with no CLR the Fox will still stand tall,
Web Services we'll call.
Glory, glory, hallelujah
Glory, glory, hallelujah
Glory, glory, hallelujah
Web Services we'll call.
With SOAP and XML the world will run our older code,
But they'd really be surprised if all its Foxiness they knowed,
Since a URL is all it takes, our business will explode,
Web Services we'll call.
>Battle Hymn of VFP.Net
>--------------------------------------------
>Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of .Net;
>it will trample through the source paths where my legacy code is set.
>it will force me to rethink, redo, and recode most of it
>It's true, we'll all do COM......
>
>Glory, glory, hallelujah
>Glory, glory, hallelujah
>Glory, glory, hallelujah
>It's true, we'll all do COM......
>
>Web Services; Web Forms; the CLR will soon be found,
>in most of Visual Studio, sample code is all around.
>But rarely is Fox mentioned, so is this where we're, too, bound?
>Is it true, we'll all do COM?
>
>Glory, glory, hallelujah
>Glory, glory, hallelujah
>Glory, glory, hallelujah
