IMO, vfp.com is one of those domains where you might get a few people to type in that url without knowing it's there but not that many. Nothing like say sex.com. With vfp.com you will still need lots of marketing to draw hits to the site. Granted it is easy to remember for people that know a little about VFP but for those that don't it's like any other acronym.

It seems to me that some people are obsessed with finding a domain name like sex.com or buy.com that they think is just going to market itself. Unfortunatly that is just not going to happen.

On the other hand, it looks like selling of domain names is a good business. The current bid for vfp.com is $6000 and that hasn't even reached the reserve price. I hope whoever buys it get's there money out of it. Also for all you consultants out there that think vfp.com is great name to have I checked and vfpexpert.com is available which IMO is just as good for consultants.
