>What about data access. I understand that the VFOX tables can not be opened directly from Crystal Reports (as the old FP2.6 ,tables). Do you need to install an ODBC driver also ?
That's true; Crystal Reports does not support VFOX tables natively. You basicly have got two choices:
1. Convert your query results into FOX 2.X tables (recommended)
2. Use the Visual FoxPro ODBC driver (Slower, more troublesome to install and maintain).
In most situations you'll report off query results, so it doesn't take much effort to COPY them into FOX 2.X tables.
