Actually, I store the Excel file template in the master table. From that master table, the user generates 1000's of Excel files to log results of tests. When the user creates a new test, he identifies the Excel file which is appended to the gen field. I do not want to keep that Excel template around as it will cause problems if somebody deletes it or changes it.
When a new result has to be logged, the excel file will be taken from the master file, VFP, through OLE will put the result values in the relevant cells and then put it in the gen field of the result table.
Sounds ok?
Still, how do I do it?
