I am using VFP6, and I know very little about 2.6. I don't know much about VFP reports, either <g> - all my reports and form are directly output as .rtf files. I use VisDocs to build the output using 'template' files, rather than Word Automation, although Word is invoked to print them. A demo at New Orleans tokk I guess a minute to list about 45 lines using word. I can generate a 50 page report in less that.

Using Nigel's Outlookmail, it's as easy as it looks (apart from the problem I am experiencing). I had spent a lot of time looking for an automated fax solution integrated with email before discovering just how simple it is.
