Hi all-

I need to get the file name stored in a general field (it belongs to an embedded object.) If I copy the general field to a table and examine the .fpt file using the low level file functions, the file name appears to start at byte 596, and I can get it that way. Is there a more straightforward way of getting it that doesn't depend on the file structure?
