I think I want to jumpt into the COM pool and beign writing these things, but I have one basic problem. I have done the obligatory Hello World so I must be ready.

Now comes thej real problem. What is this thins called COM ? Can I use visual classes or must all classes be non-visual? Can I pass object is and otu of these things? Can I get a cursor return from it?
