Hi,

How do I go about implementing our App in a Chinese version of Windows? More specifically, how can I make use of the VFP support for DBCS data? VFP does not recognize a "SET COLLATE TO PINYIN" (PINYIN with or without quotes) command or any of the collating sequence options listed below.

I've searched MSDN and UT but have not found any helpful topics or white papers on this.

Sorting DBCS Data
To help you order information in DBCS environments, Visual FoxPro supports collation sequences for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Collation sequences allow you to properly order character fields in tables for each language.

The following table lists the Visual FoxPro collation sequence options and the corresponding language.

Options Language
JAPANESE Japanese
KOREAN Korean
PINYIN Simplified Chinese
STROKE Simplified and Traditional Chinese
