Does this code get executed in a loop, OR are there other programs being run to create Excel objects on this computer? Sometimes I've had memory issues while automating excel, and the errors I get when the program finally fails usually have nothing to do with a memory problem.

If memory is your problem, I'd suggest placing oExcel = .NULL. after your oExcel.quit() and before your RELEASE oExcel. I would only bother with this if the dialog between you and Bruce does not solve your problem.
