Sorry it has taken so long to respond to your posting. We have been off the net for 2 days. Further developments. 1. If the USB printer is on the network, I can print to it with no problems. 2. If the printer is local (in development environment VPF 6.0 Sp4 Win 98se) I cannot print using "set printer to name ...'3. If I try to 'Set print to + port name' VFP appends the path to the beginning of the port name when I check it with 'Set('print',1 or 2 or 3) and will not print. I will send more info later, but any insight you have now will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
