The problem is that I have to enter a password for every table that I open (use). I reviewed (configue) the ODBC connection but the password does not have a save password box to check. It disappears every time I enter it and exit and review to see if it is there.

I would use DBSETPROP to provide the user id and password for the connection, open ONE view [pick one that opens the fastes], then use DBSETPROP again to immediately remove the user id and password. I would NEVER leave a user id and password lingering in the DBC.

Make sure all views have ShareConnection property set to TRUE.
