These will open a DOS device, but do not allow you to access CPU I/O ports by port number as inp() and outp(). You can build a binary overlay to implement this, or create a .PLB if it's DOS, or under FPW, you can use thye FoxTools RegFn() and CallFn() services to access Win16 DLL entrypoints.
