Paul,
The FoxPro compiler does indeed handle a semicolon just prior to the carriage return & line feed characters as a text continuation. This is the way it works including for comment text. Personally, I always head the beginning of any comment line with the appropriate comment signifiers. This way the semi colon is ok at the end of a comment line, unless it is the on the last comment line. An even safer way is to comment the way FoxPro does when you use the Format - Comment feature because it tacks on the end of comment signifier to the end of each line. Anyhow, how's everything going out there? Are you all converted over to 6.0 yet? Ready for the next release of FoxPro? I've been working alot with the database object in FoxPro, and man is it great! If you are converted, think about containing all the tables into a database. (If you have not already).
