Oh how easly things can go a rye in a program! After I reviewed all your questions I realized what happened. Before eather form was called I mistakenly opened up the table exclusively. When the first form opened up it's data environment (datasession property = default data session) it did not need to open up the table because the table was already opened. But when the second form ran it could not open up its dataenvironment (datasession property = private datasession) because the table was already opened up exclusively.
