You mean when coming back into the view designer, right?
Once you've coded a view that you couldn't get to work in the view designer, you can't go back to the view designer.
Get a copy of GenDBCX and use that to extract view code instead if you need to.
There are some files here on the UT - in the Files sections - that do this as well.
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
