In vfp6, =SQLConnect('Connection','user', 'password') gets an intermittent "connectivity error S1110". We are using version 3.70.06.90 of sqlsrv32.dll. We also installed MDAC 2.5 which updated the sqlsrv32.dll to version 3.70.0820.

The ODBC data source and login/user on Sql Server is correct. Sometimes the connection works, and sometimes it doesn't.

We do have both VFP3 and VFP6 installed and have noticed that sometimes the same connection will work in VFP3 and not allways VFP6. If the connection worked in VFP6, it will not allways work in VFP3...

I am a bit confused....

Anybody have any ideas?
