Microsoft SQL Server
>I am using SQL Server 7.0 for a major Web Application and it presently resides on my computer. Last Friday SQL Server decided to give me an error message: “The instruction at “0x10001917” referenced memory at “0x00000010”. The memory could not be “read”.

We got SQL Server to work again and now I am told “we use SQL Server Mail Service for our web apps”. My questions are these:

I use SQL Server mail in several apps and never have come across this problem. Also SQL Server uses it to send alerts. My suggestion would be make sure you have the latest service pack. I think SP2 is the latest right now.
