I dunno, but I had a problem yesterday that appeard out of nowhere. I was doing a Select with an JustFname(field) I think, and it was ending up with a 1 character long value. I added the PadR() to it and it turned out right. The wierd parts:

The SQL was INTO ARRAY and only one record matched, so you'd think those two facts would make it almost gaurantee to work like expected, huh?

Anyways, it worked for the longeset time, then started to fail yesterday for some reason.
