If you create web apps with VFP and they scale and they scale to your needs, then use it. I am answering the original posters question of which of the two tools is better for creating web apps. It is VB. If you don't agree, fine. You are not going to change my mind on the subject. My reasons for using VB over VFP are simple:
Microsoft supports VB more than VFP.
VB is going to be tightly integrated into the new .Net strategy.
VFP did have concurrency issues.
