A grid is a window through which you look at data. You can control tne columns to display only the ones you want, but the displayed rows are determined by the table - whether you have a view with only a few records showing, a table with a filter on it, or even DELETED() set OFF and deleted records showing.

You need to add rows to the table/view/cursor. Then just REFRESH() what the grid shows.
