I worked for a company that sold sofware for the apparel industry. One huge problem we ran into was piriting. We sold our software to a few companies and started seeing it popping up everyhere. There were several software stores selling a $100,000 package for $2000-$3000. To make matters worse the piracy laws there are non-existant. The only thing that kept the company from loosing a boatload of money was the mexican government intervened on our behalf and made and example of a few of the pirates.


>Any of you have any experience distributing your Applications to Mexico? Tarrifs? Taxes? Other hurdles? I am mainly interested in those of you in the U.S. and Canada since we are under the same trade agreement (NAFTA). Comments from others with similar experiences welcome too.
