Bill, this seems to be a quirk (Feature not bug?) of VFP. I've found it works to set the focus off the grid and back on.

>I have a form with a grid on it. From this form a second, modal form is launched for entering in new records into the table which is bound to the grid in the parent form. The child, modal form datasession is set to Default Datasession. The table the records are entered into is Table Buffered. When a record in the child form is saved, I refresh the parent form and its grid so that the new record should be displayed. Multiple records can be entered, one at a time, and saved in the child form. The first new record that is saved is correctly displayed in the parent form's grid. However, subsequent records that are saved in the child form are not displayed in the parent form grid after the refresh. For some reason I feel I should know the answer to this, or have seen it referenced before, but I can't put my finger on it. What causes this and what is the solution?
