When moving from FoxPro for Dos & Windows to Visual FoxPro, one of the problems I had was "what happens with variables"? Basically, in all the VP applications I've worked with, Properties are used in place of variables that would have been created in the Setup snippet of FoxPro for Dos & Windows.

Add a Property to the form & you'll be able to access that value with Form.PropertyName in any method. When the form closed, the Property will vanish along with the form.
