First, the error occurs because FPW tries to find the references to the various compiled programs, screens and menus in the location that was specified for the TMPFILES when the application was compiled. Second, the problem is
usually alleviated by the following three steps:
1. Making sure that TMPFILES in config.fpw points to a directory on the C: drive. If PROGWORK, SORTWORK, and EDITWORK are also specified, they should point there as well.
2. Opening the project as a table and issuing REPLACE ALL Object WITH "". This step may or may not be totally necessary.
3. Rebuilding the project with the "Rebuild All" check box checked.
