I’m using the ActiveX Internet Transfer Control (InetCtrls) to do an FTP download as part of a “Live Update” program. Since the file that will be downloaded is fairly large (3-4 Meg) I really need a thermometer to show the download’s progress.

In the StateChanged Event there is a state that tells you when the download is completed but I don’t see any apparent way of telling how many bytes have been downloaded at any particular point which would be needed to have a thermometer.

Does anybody have a suggestion on how this can be done?
