My client has an system written in FPW 2.6 which calls different application from a menu using the RUN command with a parameter. This parameter indicates for which company to display data. Sometimes this call opens the application with the wrong company but the parameter is static. Can this method of opening programs be affected by the OS, a slow or deficient network setup or sume such? There is no way from my analysis that parameter can be changed within one session of the application.

I.E. open the application, the screen (and menu) appear). Select the menu option to open another instance of FPW with the application data for the company displayed in the initial screen. A screen opens for the wrong company. Close this screen, try again without closing the application. Eventually the right (or wrong) company gets displayed in the second screen.

Any ideas?
