Looks like everything works but the executable itself. IOW, everything runs fine in the command window and the debugger, but clicking the executable itself does nothing.

If I'm beating a dead horse, let me know. The last thing I want to do is irritate everyone. The only reason I'm still pushing this issue is that I've never written a prog before, I'm so close, and I'm sure I'm doing something silly. Forgive the persistance.
