>I found documentation in a FoxPlus Book I have. Put the line 'Timeout=999999' in config.fpw. Tried it and it does not help. Microsoft Tech Support thinks this is a printer driver issue. Even so, it is still a VFP issue because the printer prints fine from other windows products.
Well, at least my mind's not going. <g>
What kind of printers are these (who makes them)?
You say it's a VFP problem, but VFP has ton-of-problems with HP printers, where Word, etc., do not. But the fact of the matter is it's the HP drivers that have the bug (they tweak the FPU, and do not reset it's state correctly). Haven't come across any USB printers yet, so I don't know if there are any Microsoft suppied drivers that might work for you better than the manufacturer supplied ones.
