I played around with the RT control, but that ended up being too slow. I have a edit box that has a bunch of functionality attached to it with the keypress event. It's acceptable with a straight VFP edit box, but with the RT control it bogs down to a crawl to where you're waiting for keystrokes.
Plus I wasn't all that happy with htis spell checking control anyway. It would show errors as you typed, but not in the whole text which is really what I'm after.
There's another control from CHoud (or something liek that) that works like I want except it's a VB control and requires 2 meg of runtime plus the dictionaries. And it has the typical VB textbox problem that you can't surpress the right click menu.
For now, I'm starting Word for spell checking then back into the app... messy but it works and is relatively easy to do although certainly not a check as you type solution.
