How can someone not read a private message? There is both visual and audio indication that you have a message. So, I still have the same question. Why all the notifications? IMO, posting a PM and sending an email is no different than posting the same question in multiple categories. I think you're missing the point. You have a notification system built-in here on the UT. It's called Private Messages. If someone doesn't check their PMs, you've done your job. It's their fault if they don't get notified.
