It means you need to write the CD in another format, likely requiring the use of other software. Try the web site http://cdr.adaptec.com/cgi-bin/cdrmain.cgi to check on what software is available from Adaptec for your CD writer, and to read the CD FAQ that describes the issues of various CD formats used to write on writable/rewritable media.
