I want to display it in a more relistic way that is a progress bar. I know that some iteration commands will be used but I don't know how to start with it.

On top of the FFC, there are some thermometer classes at west-wind.com, I know Doug Hennig wrote a FoxTalk article on it and the class was included, there is an ActiveX contrl you can use, and you can always write your own with a blue rectangle inside 3d shape, doesn't look half bad.
