Have you tried:

- OIE = .NULL.

>Howdy, I'm using winit.dll to InternetDial using default ras to dial up internet if not already connected. Then internet exporer object OIE=createobject('internetexplorer.application') to access a https secure socket location. once Ive gotten the data that I need from there I do an OLE.stop and OLE.quit to relase the explorer then I use wininit.dll to hangup if I called out InternetHangUp(nInet_Handle,0) and =InternetCloseHandle(nInet_Handle).

>Well if it is at a customer with a T1 line where I don't call and hangup, and they manually open an explorer window, they have the secure socket still avaialble without loggin back in?? The pages that I'm attaching to don't have a logout page. How can I release the secure socket? (note: going to another http location after I'm done doesn't seem to do it)
